Kiel Felts

Hospital Director

I am a Florida Native, born in Pensacola and raised in Bradenton. While attending Manatee High School in Bradenton, I started my veterinary career at a local veterinary hospital working as a kennel assistance and veterinary assistant. After graduating High School, I joined the military as part of the Army Veterinary Corps. During my ten years in the Army I lived around the world providing Veterinary support to Military Working Dogs, Horses, Goats and Cats as well as providing veterinary care for the personal pets of the Army Soldiers, Navy Sailor and Marines stationed with me. After ten years in the Army, I decided to end my enlistment and was Honorably Discharged in October of 2012 when I moved back to Bradenton, Florida in order to pursue my degree in Business Administration at USF Sarasota-Manatee.

While attending college I worked as a Veterinary Technician at two Emergency Hospitals in Bradenton and Sarasota for almost two years as well as a year as a Veterinary Technician with the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center in Tampa. I have been managing veterinary hospitals since 2015 and love what I do. I have always had a passion for veterinary medicine from a young age and being able to pursue the career I love since 2000 has been a dream come true.

I live in Riverview, Florida with my beautiful daughter, Two dogs (Sargie and Carl), Cat (Squirt), and five turtles (Pocahontas, Moana, Maui, Jazmin, and Ariel). My daughter and I love the outdoors and you will often find us at the State Parks or on the Boat fishing the days away.
